The last Lord Howe Retreat (February
14-21, 2010) - we had another
wonderful week of yoga, bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling
and relaxing! Five of our group climbed Mt Gower which
was quite a challenge. The company (Kerri, Heather, Sandi,
Cass, Luke, Sharon, Mark, Peter and Tricia, Cathy, and
Dieter and Ulrike) was wonderful. The group Pilot's song
'Magic' came up a lot during the week. The food was great
too! Lots of wonderful kingfish as usual. We happened
to be there during LHI's Discovery Day on Feb 18 and enjoyed
another tasty fish fry cooked up by islanders Peter and
Jack and co. A great time was had by everyone! It was
so good to have Kerri for her seventh visit, Mark and
Cathy for their third, and Heather, Sharon, and Luke for
their second. It was my tenth visit and it just gets better
and better. As a World Heritage listed island, it is truly
a unique place for a yoga retreat and for some time out
with like-minded people.
